It takes a lot of helping hands to tackle litter, including our children and young people. That’s why we think it is so important to teach them about waste and the impact it has on the world we live in. 

Below are a collection of resources to help deliver waste education in school.

Love Suffolk Hate Litter

This school pack will provide schools and teachers support with taking practical action to tackle the problem of litter. Developed by the Suffolk Waste Partnership. 

sCHOOL LITTER SURVEY

Find out what your pupils think about litter with this 16 questions survey that explores their attitude to litter and the impact they think it has on the world around them.

Litter Check

Get your pupils to carry out litter checks to identify potential litter problems and how they can be resolved. 

Rubbish Check

This activity will help teach pupils aged between 5 – 7 how to sort rubbish in different way

Litter Picker Certificate

Don’t let their hard work go to waste. Reward pupils for their litter picking efforts with this certificate.

Waste Word Puzzle

Get your pupils to use their new found waste and litter knowledge to complete this word puzzle.

Get involved

Show how much you love your street by getting together with your neighbours, family or friends and organising a community litter pick.

We can supply you with litter picking kits as well as collect the waste once you’re done (9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday). Simply complete the below form to enquire.
