What happens to waste from my brown bin?

The compost we are giving to winners has been produced from the county’s brown bin waste which is created at the Material Change composting plant just outside Ipswich.

Made from garden waste including grass cuttings, tree, and shrub prunings, flowers, leaves and shrubs, it is turned into a nutrient rich Soil Improver.

DiGBY wants to share the process of how compost is made and highlight the importance of using your brown bin correctly.
